Jeevan Prabhat Pondichery -Construction Progress

Dear Arya Bhandus:

I am very happy to report that construction of Jeevan Prabhat Pondicherry is going extremely well. The flooring & other finish work has started. & hope to be completed in the next couple of months. Attached are some the latest pictures received from the construction site.

Dr. Rajinder Gandhi, Mrs. Jyoti Gandhi & Girish Khosla ji visited both Jeevan Prabhat Gandhidam & Jeevan Prabhat Pondicherry during the month of January, 2008. It was Rajinder & Joyti ji,s first visit. I had the opportunity to talk to them individually on their return from India. They were extremely impressed with the whole concept of Jeevan Prabhat. The environments & education being provided to the orphans & extremely poor children is beyond any body’s expectations. They both agreed that it is hard to imagine & believe, unless you see for yourself, how great the humanitarian work is being rendered by both Jeevan Prabhats.. I requested Rajinder & Jyoti ji to write their impressions of this visit in their own words in our next newsletter.

The sincere & hard work being put in these projects by Acharya Vachonidhi & his team is exemplary. Personally, I can not say enough about the leadership & dedication of Acharya Vachonidhi ji.

Like last year, both DAV Sanskriti School, Houston & DAV Montessori School, Houston children are doing a Read-a thon to raise funds for the Jeevan Prabhat children. APSA commitment for the complete construction of Pondicherry project & on going support for the upkeep & education of the children is unwavering. I request all Arya Bandhus to visit these institutions at your first opportunity and feel proud of this great humanitarian project. I want to thank you all for your continuous financial support for these noble projects.
