Happy Birthday Pandit Ram Lall Ji

 

Our heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Pt. Ram Lal ji on his 80th Birthday.  He has dedicated his life to the Arya Samaj movement and guided the APSA from its inception. He is a true follower and promoter of the principles of Arya Samaj.  His strong beliefs in the Vedic values are exemplary and inspiring for many Arya Samajis around the globe. Takes Vanprastha Diksha

 

Dear Arya Bandhus, I am very happy to share with you the following pictures from Jeevan Prabhat Gandhidam where Girish Khosla ji took Vanprastha on his 60th Birthday. The ceremony was attended by his wife, son, daughter in law and his grandson along with various dignitaries.

Girish Khosla ji needs no introduction. He has been the back bone of Arya Pratindhi Sabha since its inception. Single handedly he has carried on the torch of APSA.  He & his family have dedicated their life to the cause of Arya Samaj.

DAV Sanskriti School

holds a Read-A-Thon

Readathon is a fundraiser organized in DAV Sanskriti School that helps the children of Jeevan Prabhat in Pondicherry, India. Jeevan Prabhat helps orphaned children of the 2004 tsunami disaster by giving them immense parental love, a proper nutritious diet, good discipline and a safe environment.

In Readathon, participants read books and collect pledges. All the money collected goes to Jeevan Prabhat. Arya Samaj Greater Houston has participated in Readathon for 5 years. This event runs for about 5 weeks, starting in the winter break and completes at the end of January.[Read More]

 

Maharishi Swami Dayanand Saraswati

Swami Dayanand Saraswati was one of the great gifts of to India. He was the greatest reformer of the nineteenth century as well as the savior of the Hindu India. He was born and brought up in Kathiawar, Gujarat. His father was a devout Shaivite and he was eager to groom his son to follow his footsteps and demanded that besides other rituals, he should begin practicing Parthiva Puja, the worship of the clay-linga- representing Shiva.
