 Eeshä  väsyamidam  sarvam  yadkincha  jagatyäm  jagat.

Tayna tyaktayna bhunjeethä mä gridhah kasya swidhanam. (Yajur Veda 40: 1)

One could ask, why is it important to pass on the heritage? The answer is multifold. One simple reason could be that you want your children to follow your path. The main reason however is that “everyone in life wants to be happy”. We parents and society leaders would like to do things, create an atmosphere where the lives of our youth/children be better. Atharva Ved declares “ Udyaanam te purusha, naavayaanam”. This literally means that the goal of a person should be to higher and not lower. MULTI KUND YAJNA AT TORONTO ARYA SAMAJ
